Fun and free activities for the Summer Holidays!

Many of you are already on your Summer break with everyone else not far behind and we thought this would be a great time to share some fun, free activities you can do over the next few weeks!

  • Read a book
The Summer break is a great time to relax and delve into a new book or some old favourites! It’s great for the mind and can be done inside or outside! Did you know reading can also promote better sleep?

  • Ball games
Gather your friends and see what games you can come up with! This could be ball games, imagination based games or simply who can run the fastest!

  • Make a duvet fort
Who’s the King of the castle? We all know the British weather can be quite unpredictable, so for those rainy days perhaps building a fort with cushions, duvet covers and anything else would be fun! Not only is this fun, but it can encourage roleplay games with siblings and friends and even provide a place to hide and have some tasty snacks!

  • Have a picnic
Arrange a picnic in the garden, at the park or wherever you find relaxing! Gather those tasty (and healthy) treats out of the cupboard and share an afternoon with family, friends and even your pets!

  • Waterfight!
Who doesn’t love a full out waterfight?! I know we do!

  • Stream a new show (not technically free but if you are lucky enough…)

There’s plenty do this Summer and we hope you all have lots of fun when you can!
